this deeply offends me, I am PM'ing Squirrel right now, and giving his fuzzy nuts a piece of my mind!! SOB!

 

It was the offensive manner that was used that made it more of a personal attack and not so much an observation that was not needed.Northern California by the way.

 

so anyone have any ideas about replacing my sparkplug cables?

 

Most of those cables, despite their 20+year vintage, are still in very good condition and don't need replacement. The only bad cables I've seen are ones bitten by RODENTS !!

mine were trashed and all held together by black tape u can shut the bike down by wiggling the wires they arc off of everything at night it looks like a light show! so . . . . i think they need replaced.

 

I also need a set of 37mm clipons for cheap!

 

Well, I actually LIKE my 1984 Interceptor. It's cool! I respect it as the Granddaddy Sportbike! I have replaced the rear shock and I may retrofit F2 wheels, but that's about all the upgrades I have considered. I would rather put my money in upgrades for my already modern 2004 VFR. Or, better yet, I would buy a new bike!
