Last night I installed the Puig (dark smoke) windscreen that I ordered. The install was painless.

    Before: 0627121920-00.jpg

Remove the two Phillips screws, located on the dash side of the windscreen. Then pull off the plastic cover.
Underneath the plastic cover are two 5mm Allen bolts. Remove those, and gently pull the stock screen back and up (toward the seat).

    Compare: 0627121925-01.jpg

The Puig screen fit pretty snug. It took more time getting the new one in and to sit properly than it did to remove the old one and put the bolts back in the new one.

    After: 0627121931-01.jpg

The difference when riding is instant. No more ‘buffering’ right at face shield level on my helmet. Wind is directed straight over my head (I’m only 5’9”).

    All said and done:
The looks are great, (it will take me a week or so to get used to the sheer size difference) 9 out of 10.
Install difficulty 1 out of 10.
Fit on the bike (some of the lines don’t match up 100% but most people won’t notice) 7 out of 10.
Well worth the $90 price tag

Looks great! How is it when you tuck down behind it? Good aerodynamics?

Very good. Its much better now that I can be in full tuck in a much more relaxed position.
