Been awhile since i have posted anything on here since joining other then the few posts i made earlier tonight...First i would like to show everyone a more recent pic of my VF now that it has been freed from its snow covered hibernation.

Just a list of what i will be doing to it to upgrade and update its appearance.

Replacing the signals with more modern ones once i find ones i like.
Repainting the body work and tank
Replacing certian graphics on the bike after repaint
Cutting down my rear fender and adding white LEDs around the rear tail light if possable to replace the rear licence plate light.
Recovering the seat in either black or red vinyl once the final paint color is determined.

What about flat or matte black w/the other color choices?? Harley has come out w/ flat (not shiny) paint schemes and on the new Sportster it looks great so I'm thinking in small quantities it would do well on our VFR's......plus no one else is doing it! (check out HD's main website and go to the new Sportster to see the color schemes)

The way im currently leaning it more then likely will be Matte black with red graphics..im only reusing the tank graphics and the Interceptor on the tail fairing..i will not be remaking the wing on the lower chin fairing or the stripes on the upper.

Well now that i have had a chance to get a good look at the color of the bike in some sunlight i have decided to keep it as is and just eliminate the wing graphic on the chin fairing. I have some questions though...I have considered getting a pair of universal supertrapp slip ons for this bike and was wondering if they would be any benifit over the stock cans? Secondly does anyone have any suggestions as to how i could upgrade the front forks to make them a little firmer? Im planning on buying some from ebay if i can find any and have them rebuilt with any upgrades i can get. From there eventually i will replace the current shimoto tires with Dunlop GT501s or Avon Super Venoms..havent figured which tire yet.
