Been saving all my nickles and dimes:wof: and with my Xmas bonus from work I expect to be ordering a new set of Leo's as my new exhaust.(I've made up my mind on that):loco: I'll have some left over money(I can't save that money that would be unamerican. I have to do my part to help out the economy:usa2:) My question is...Is a power commander worth the money? Or would I be better off buying a Corbin seat and waiting on the power commander.
I'm leaning towards the power commander because I'm from Tennessee and I don't do cold weather.:smow: So I don't think I'll be doing much riding till next march.:frown: And have never been on an Iron Ass cross country :bootyshake:ride but planning to do one next spring. I'm looking forward to hearing your opinions. :cheersaf:

Personally, I probably would do the seat (I would buy a Sargent, not a Corbin myself) because I would much rather have the comfort first. I don't have a PC3, but lots of folks on here do, and as long as you load the proper mapping, they think they are well with the money. Do a search on here for Power Commader PC3, PCIII, and see what hits you get.

Maybe or maybe not, depends on how/if your bike's behavior changes with the exhaust upgrade. If you experience low speed surging, harsh vtec transition or lose engine smoothness then I'd say yeah, it's worth it. I'd wait till you install them, ride the bike a while then decide if anything is bugging you.

I would heartily agree with this, assuming you're doing the Leo's first no matter what. If it was ME though, I'd get the Sargent seat first for the comfort factor... made a big diff for me even on the 2 and 3 hour runs. 2nd would be PC, because that smooths out even the stock engines. And last would be the pipes. Hmmmm... well, except for the pipes that IS the order I did it in! Damn, I'm smart!!
