Anyone have the Penske shock and Racetech front end as their combination? Any thoughts or comments on it? I am about to get it all installed. Thanks!

My SV650 has a Penske double-clicker and RaceTech emulators. Good components, made a huge difference. But then again, the stock Suzuki stuff was pretty cheesy. Let us know how the mods work on the '07 (I am assuming that's the one you are referring to).

Don't let the Stuke fool you! I don't know anything about motorcycles, except for - "Righty Tighty, Lefty Loosey" .........I believe both RW and Reg have this combination, you might want to ask them.......

On my 2k Yellow 5th Gen VFR I have the Penske 8987 (3 way) with the GP Suspension springs. The best investment I have made to my VFR. I also had the forks revalved for my weight and riding style. I ride year round and do occasional track days. When I ride with my club members who have ZX10s and GSXRs, I have no problem keeping up when we ride the twisties like I did before the upgrade. I am also running the Dunlop Road Smart tires and this is a great touring setup for me. I would only say that if you plan on doing some hardcore trackdays you may want to consider the Olins shock. Ya can't go wrong with the 2 way (upgradable) or 3 way Penske shock.

I am doing the Penske 2 way on the VFR, yes. If it goes well witht he combination, I'll do the same thing on the SV. I just need a little more out of the suspension on those two bikes. I am not looking to go top-line on them, just something to help me better handle the roads on my aggresive runs with friends.

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to the upgrade.

Me and Reg have the same set up, Penske for the rear and Racetech gold Valves. with 95 springs for the front, It made a HUGE difference for aggressive riding in the twistys, instead of the pogo like feedback you get from the P.O.S. stock suspension when your driving it hard into the corners you get a feedback that you can actually use to make a smoother transition in & out of the corners. Good combination and best Mod you can do to a VFR if you like sport riding :thumb:
