Hi all I'm planning on visiting Pendine sands for speed week at the end of the month. The wife and my two year old would be coming along too... Are there any forum members who have been before? I ask as, I can't seem to find much information on the internet about the immediate surroundings. Other than the obvious what goes on in the town? Will there be attractions, music, food, stalls etc? I need to sell it to the wife. My fear is that there won't be much else there for them and we'd end up at Folly Farm!
In that Pendine sands is famous for all sorts of speed events and has a museum of speed. It seems likely that there will be plenty for all concerned to do whilst there. Google and WIKI both have references, the museum has a website and so does the town. You could also leave the wife and kid with your MIL, send me a ticket and I will damn sure find things to do..
