ive managed to get my wife on the back of my 07 vfr but she has noticed there is a bit of engine vibration coming up through the pegs and making her feet numb anyone had the same problem and do you know a way to fix it cheers tim
My wife has the same complaint about my '96 VFR and my Yamaha XS400 before that. I don't think that you can fix it - seems like pretty much all bikes have the passenger pegs hard mounted to the rear subframe. I'd just tell your wife to shift her weight around on her feet every 10 km or so. When you are riding, do you keep your feet in the same position on the pegs all the time? Probably not. Do your feet go numb? Probably not. If you stood on a fence on your arches for 10 minutes, your feet would probably go numb, too.
tell her it's a foot massage, or buy a Harley to have the vibration in the seat:tongue: But seriously, I can't remember, & I romove the passenger pegs on all my bikes except the Sprint, but I may be wrong or right, isn't the passenger pegs all metal ??? If so, just by buying aftermarket pegs with rubber on the foot contact area will stop some of the vibrations, & if it does have rubber, it's not enough & get aftermarket that has more rubber & bigger pegs. For solo canyon zipping, you can alway's take the ugly things off
