    Yeee, what kind though?
I'm wondering what may get nasty the most. Should I be cleaning things I'm not aware of?

Used mostly to remove paint and any kind of corrosion from metal parts.

    Mainly used for restoration.

Other uses for those rigs depend on the blast media used. At the gentle end for even things like jewelry or musical instruments using bicarbonate of soda, to the use of plastic media of known hardness and shape for other projects. Even "sand" can be quantified. Some blasting facilities can accept large seagoing vessels needing partial or total paint and coatings removed. The hotrod market makes use of blasting when rebuilding original steel cars utilizing several media to achieve the wanted level of removal or profiling.

Then ya got vapor blasting and even one form of water blasting that can decoratively cut very hard substrates like marble.

Surely you are not attempting to promote video selfies. Then again, this could open up a whole new need for more substantial sefie sticks or attachments for those little video cams I keep seeing at Wal*Mart.

Have you seen the latest? It's one of those foil lined "Make America Great" hats with a base to hold a GoPro. They will be selling them at the inauguration in DC. Autographed versions will be available, so they say. It is only a rumor that the hats are made in China. My sources tell me they are made in Russia and North Korea as part of the "Can't we all get along?" Crusade.

Didn't take the OP long to figure it out. I doubt there will be a post 35.

And when you DIY your own zinc plating on those parts, don't expect a nickel finish.

    (You'd have to be there...)

The OP probably figured it out all by his lonesome with just a few basic pieces of information.

Maybe he'll build a larger version to clean up that bike. He might get in some trouble with his wife over the bundt pan but even more trouble when the cat starts crapping anywhere it wants to when the dude uses up all the cat litter.

I sure hope using a hacksaw on his wood is limited to that chunk of plywood.
