    soooooooo

so, I've gone from needing parts to possibly supplying parts.

It's highly possible that I'll be parting out my VFR soon.

cosmetically, not much is in great shape, and not much is in good shape either.

    But most of it works.

Who wants what? Is there enough demand to make it worth my while to part out or sell as a parts bike?

it's just become too much of a burden

I can't keep fixing it, I want either ride it or not have it.

I'm constantly buying a part, and then putting that part on, and then buying another part and then putting it on.

I just can't take it anymore.

    I want to ride.

I've just had too much work, and no fun.

what else is going to show up if I fix the head gasket?

I'm cutting my losses and going on with life.

Well, I don't blame you. I am selling my '82 Sabre for the same reason. The head gasket was the straw that broke the camel's (or bike's) back. Are you stepping up to a newer VFR?

I honestly don't know if I'm stepping up to a new VFR, one thing I don't like is the vtec stuff of the new VFR's, otherwise, I'd jump back on one.

looking at one of the zookies, and a couple kawas too

Some days are better than others....it sounds like you could use some "betters" as opposed to "others". Sorry to hear it didn't come good for you :frown: Good luck with your next machine.

I know I'm opening up a big'ole can o'worms here...but, I love the V-Tec. Yeah, I know it may be a little gimmicky, but I still love it. My '07 has a smooth transition and sounds like it's going to take flight when it opens-up.:whoo: :vtr2:

wel, do you have pictures? I might be interested in the tail/side pieces if they're in OK shape.
