I had some fairing repairs to make which turned out awesome thanks to the info here. Now its time to paint. Since that involves most of the bike I was thinking about changing the color. I always thought orange would be cool. Its a 97. What do you all think? Would that be a good move or not? Not like I'm into original or anything like that.Just COOL. Thanks.

Have to say, I generally am not a fan of deviating from the factory paint schemes but that orange looks damn good.

I kinda like the orange, too. I have really gotten used to my yellow. At first I was gonna paint it white, but the yellow stands out more. Now I want a yellow truck to go with it. But that orange is clean.

    Who did your paint?

I live in Michigan. Anybody know of a painter in this area? Someone with a reasonable price?
