oiling problem on 95

does anyone know what years were prone to the upper engine oiling problem. a friend is looking at a 95 just wondering if this year fell in the range . thanks for any help.<< i did search forums before posting but didnt see anything

 

The first gen's were the culprit's, 83-85. Basically if it has gear drive it is ok.
