The introduction page did not work so I will post my introduction here. My name is Mike D and I just purchased a New 2014 VFR 800 from a local dealer at a large discount and. I have some question about the bike since I have always owned Kawasaki and Suzuki's. My First TRUE Bike was a pristine 1983 Kawasaki Gpz550 bought in 1989 with 2,000 miles. My Second bike was a 1995 Gpz 1000 and my 3rd bike going into the realm of twins or V twins was a 2007 Suzuki Sv1000s. I Had found memories of riding a 1985 VRF 750 that a friend had back in the day. So my interest grew on the VFR, I saw that the bikes where being discounted across the country when looking to replace the Sv1000s. I Love the bike so far with 400 miles on it. I have ordered the bar risers and the center stand to be installed on my first service in a week. I look forward to joining this community and any feedback on add ons, tweeks etc. First impressions of the bike are great. But, I do have some issues with the factory settings, seat etc. I also look forward to meeting a group of new riding friends in the U.S. and possibly the western U.S (Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, California Etc.) For possible rides and rallies.

Hi Bubba, welcome! People complain about not being able to post in the welcome section. It must have some sort of security switch. Maybe it wants time to go by after you registered or something like that.

Yes this bike, despite being a great "all-around" bikes, seem to be a niche. The result is they can be excellent values as new/leftovers or on the used market. Still, many of us cannot understand why everyone does not have a VFR LOL.

Welcome to the crazy hours, Bubba!!!

Great find on that bike. My garage would be full of VFRs if I had the money and space.

SMH Yea where's the Photos. Ok. Good to see you up and going here. First congrats. those 014 vfrs are really getting priced right, considering where they started, just saw a standard at the dealer $7600. Crazy, Honda should have known. Wonder what demographic they used for market study? Second, keep an eye on this place, there's a lot of us hiding, going here and there. Great area you are in, you're not so far off from some great riding huh ;) Third, Don't forget to pin the member map!!!
