Hi, I'm a late starter to bikes, and just days away from taking my final full licence test. On a recommendation I brought a 99 VFR 800 (US import to UK). A fabulous bike. I can't wait to ride. Looking forward to lots of valuable info from the forum too. Cheers !
just becareful and dont show off on it, bikes are fun and urs is big for a starter bike but have respect for them, they can and will hurt you..... i just got my 1st bike not to long ago maybe 2 months ago and its a vfr 750 91 model, and i had a slow lay down in a parking lot, but shes almost back together, but have fun and be careful. Congrats on the new vfr!!
Cheers... Also, appreciate the cautionary note. I will enjoy it but also know there's a lot to learn, Hope you get your bike back on the road soon.
yep i still got learning to do myself, just remember theres ALWAYS new techniques and skills to learn no matter how advanced you are, also look into motorcycle training courses to...
Welcome There is nothing more therapeutic than riding. On the safety note, I offer up this one good piece of advice that someone once told me when I started riding. No matter what, always remember, that YOU are the one riding the bike, not the people that are asking you to pop a wheelie or rev your motor. If you fall down, YOU hurt, not them. Congratulations on your purchase and hope you have as many great experiences riding as I have so far!
