What are the symptoms of the low-RPM stumble?

At idle to 3000rpm there is alot of vibration in mirrors and handlebars in nutral and in gear. In netral you can rev motor to 3500rpm and seams to smooth out but sometimes when I let off it makes a spit back noise.

The V-Tech is not at all a big deal. I'm just worried you'll think the vfr will be too slow for you coming off a 1000. Over all I think you'll like it better. As for the skipping it's been my experience with the 6th gen at low rpm's it kind of chugs along. It really doesn't like to ride below 4000 rpm's (a lot of guys say 5000) and it certainly doesn't like hard acceleration starting below 4000 rpm's. But in neutral mine runs very smooth from idle on up.

And the clutches are very loud when in neutral. I've talked to a lot of guys that's just the way they are.
