Hey from S Jersey. Picking up a 86 VFR I fell over yesterday this afternoon. Always liked these and this one looks great- super clean original paint. 20 k on clock. Gotta head out now but will be a PIA for a little while.

Got the bike home and went over it. A S-100 wash job and a wax and this bike is gleaming. Took it around the hood-nice, smooth, motor quiet. Tomorrow should be 54 deg here and it's gonna get a nice shakedown. My 20 y/o is drooling - he's working his way up the bike chain and has passed the 250cc stage- aint turning him loose w/this one though

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you found a good bike. There are a couple members not far from you. This summer should be good for a group ride or two and maybe a BBQ.
I used to spend summers at Stone Harbor.

Another NJ type in the house, rock on. If the weather is decent, I will be riding tomorrow.

You get a pat on the back for keeping vintage iron running.

    KC-10 FE out...

I'll head out and be at the Wawa @ Rt 70 + 539 in Whiting area around 1200. Always up for a ride. Campouts and BBq's are always a good thing. If all goes well this morn on shakedown I'll have the VFR. If not -Gold Concours

Totally not computer savy. Have the tools ie;digital camera [dont know how that works either] just need someone to show me how someday. I know everyone tells me its easy but I only use the computer to stay connected w/M/C's when I cant be riding and never got around to learning much about Computers. Even got alot of bike parts and stuff in the garage I could dump on e-bay but mostly I'd rather go ride.

PS +1 on communist NJ I'm a long time prisoner. Now I hear that M/C registrations going from $25 to $65 BOHICA
