Hello VFR world. I've been a fan of these bikes for years. Last week I picked up a 97 with 24k miles. The preveous owner had it painted white and a two brothers exhaust with a progressive rear shock added. I should say I'll be 65 next month and have two Harleys and a 83 Honda 1100F. Only rode the bike once, but, it performs as well as I expected.

Took you long enough to come around to the pride of the Honda Fleet. It only took me until I was 51 before I jumped on board.

We like pix here. Snap to old bugga. I'm just a very few years behind you. Welcome.

Hi Velt - I've got a '97 in the regular red color and I'm at 65 myself. My other Honda is a 1982 Nighthawk 450. I'm in northern VA.
    Cheers,
    Bill

Hey guys, thanks for the response. I'm in the WV northern panhandle just outside Pittsburgh. Years ago a buddy of mine told me after he sold his motorcycle..."there's fast riders and there's old riders, but, there are no old fast riders." I'm out to prove him wrong. The way I figure, Paul Newman was 82 when he won his last SCCA race. I got a few years left.

    Ride on.

Hi Velt. Welcome aboard. You will love the VFR. And that 1100F is a special machine. The harleys do blow, however. Have fun! Laker
