I have been lurking around for a short time looking mostly at the classifieds; I am happy to report that I purchased a 2004 VFR with 4000 miles today and so far I am very pleased. My parents would not let me own a bike growing up, I am now 55 and purchased my first bike when I turned 18. Now 30+ bikes later I own my first VFR. I also ride a 2005 GoldWing. I will try searches before asking questions that have been answered 100 times but I am sure that I will have some elementary questions on the VFR. I am a native of Tennessee and a US Army Veteran.

Welcome aboard. You will find lots of veterans here and also
some that ride a Gold Wing.

Enjoy your new toy. They really are sweet machines.
