After lurking in the shadows of the board for a few months I figured its time to say Hi from Virginia Beach, Va. I recently picked up a new to me 04 VFR to replace my VTX 1300. I am sure there is much wisdom on tap within this board and hope to be valuable contributor as well. I am a very competent wrench, MSF RiderCoach, Virginia Rider Training Program QAR, and Lee Parks Total Control Instructor. If anyone wants to know about courses in Va just ask.

    Welcome aboard gearhead.

You have lots of credentials, but around here you ain't shit unless you post up a picture of your bike. Or some hot women.

Joking aside, hope you enjoy your new ride. A little sidenote on the 2002 to 2005 VFRs: They had a wiring harness recall issued. Something up front - not exactly sure. Have your VIN run by any Honda dealer or by calling Honda-San and they can tell you if it was done.

Last thing - assume since you've been lurking, you're aware of the R/R issues.

Thanks for the welcome. Or course photos are requisite and I will load some shortly. I am fortunate as the previous owner took very good care of and logged all maintenance done to the VFR. The recall has been performed but I know there is much more to the VFR to learn from all here.
