new to vfr world

    hi my name is jay, i have an 84 vf500f interceptor that is need of some love. i have it at the shop right now having the carbs done, and have a few other issues that needs addressing one of which is my rear brake caliper. the bike sat for a while and the caliper has some rust and wont loosen its grip . i was wondering if i soaked it in some pb blast will this work/ harm the caliper more than it is . budget is an issue and i don't want to buy a another one if i don't have too
    . any help on this will be greatly appreciated. thanks
