Hello All, I have been lurking around here for some time reading opinions on the VFR1200 and I am now thinking about buying one. The prices of the leftover 2010 models are very tempting but I have yet to ride one but I am going to try to find a dealer who has a demo. I'm sure I will be asking more questions as they come to mind.
Hey BobK. That's quite a few places you live - good for you. If you're interested in the 2010 and haven't seen this thread, you might find it good reading. I did, and I don't even own one! Click below. http://vfrworld.com/forums/7th-generation-2010-present/37405-1-year-later-review.html
Yes, I saw that thread. It made good reading. This will be the bike for the Georgia mountains if I decided to buy it as there is a mix of twisties and touring roads and I would just leave the bike up there. I have others for my other locations. Just bought a 2012 ZX14R that I will leave in Florida for the straight unlimited speeds we do down here.
personally, I'll never turn down pics of scantily clad hot chicks. Even better if it's a hot chick on your bike. But in the context of this thread, I'll settle for pics of these bikes stashed around the country. Lemme know if you're ever in CO and want to ride the real mountains.
I have been to the "real" mountains several times up & down and sideways through Colorado and loved it. Will probably be going out west sometime this year.
Damn...............you are my hero. Quite a collection you got there Bob Welcome to the nuts house and good luck with the hunt for the 2010.
Well I'm an old guy 67 next week so I have had a long time to gather the resources to assemble my collection. Don't worry you will get there too.
I am available for adoption must warn you; While I do like the beach and travel well, I hate sandcastles
The new ZX-14R is a real beast. Kawi pumped up the displacement by 100cc's and it will solidly trounce a 'Busa. Welcome to the forums, sir! /tips hat
