Hello all, just now joined the forum to tap into info for my '95 VFR. Have had this bike 10+ years. I am the 2nd owner after my friend traded it in on a 954. Mods I have done to it are Race Tech springs and valving to the front fork, a Penske shock, a Bill Mayer saddle mod (bad choice, that one), Ventura rack system, and a Powerlet socket. Have put 20K miles on it over the years; it's been a solid bike. Niggles have been the charging system; have replaced the rectifier twice. Fortunately no stator ills. My other Honda is an '83 VF750F, have had this one since 1985, when one of my other friends parked it after only 1600 miles! This one now has 32K miles, and is ensconced in the depths of the garage, awaiting restoration. Has some cam spalling now. Only oiling system mod was removal of the restrictor some years ago. Acquired a wrecked '82 Sabre that had the Tierney-Hollen oiling mod, which I boned out for later use. Never got around to putting it on, though. The Garage Queen also has a fatal leak from the fuel petcock; that was one reason she got parked. Continually eats counter shaft seals; maybe that's a result of the restrictor removal, since that is where the top end oil line gets its supply. Other bikes: a 1988 BMW RS100RS, had this one since new. A 2007 KLR 650, also owned since new. Newest addition: A 2009 Moto Guzzi Stelvio, also new, could not pass on this one, since it was discounted 33%. She's still going through the break-in process. Looking forward to garnering lots on info.

Welcome to The World! It sounds like you have a nice collection. Of course the rule here is that they don't exist without pictures. So its all here say until then.

    Cheers
