Hi all! I just finished my MSF Basic Rider course this past weekend, and I got my motorcycle endorsement on my driver's license today. Woo hoo! I have a couple of bike deals that I am working... one of them is a VFR700F2 that currently belongs to a friend's ex-roommate. I have been told that it runs strong... unfortunately the owner dropped it and broke the crankcase cover, as well as damaged the bodywork (which is inexplicably painted flat black). I don't know if this one is worth the time and effort to save, but I'm looking into it. The good news is that I can get this one dirt cheap. The other deal is an '80s Yamaha XS 650... my friend who lives across the street has had this bike sitting in his garage for some years and never rode it since it was given to him by a third party. This bike is a survivor... looks decent, with a couple of battle scars, but it's all there. It's mine for the riding if I do the mechanical work to get it on the road. This one's not for sale at present, but it's not a huge bike so I'm thinking it might be a decent trainer. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. Ken
