Well I finally found a 1984 VF1000F and have been busy getting parts together with Tom's (VF1000rs) help for which I am eternally grateful.

He connected me to daughtery motorsports and also was kind enough to sell me a set of CBR600F2 wheels for the conversion to 17 inchers.

Bike was torn down to frame and is being cleaned and carefully re-assembled by a cycle shop in Indianapolis, IN.

I have several Hondas (CB400F, CB1100F and CBX) but this is my first V-Four so I'm excited about the change.

A GREAT site and I'm combing it nightly looking for advice and hints.

    Glad to be aboard.
