    Ok:
I have owned many VF's. I just bought my first VFR 1994. I gave up my 1000 last year because I found a steal on a 1996 CBR1000f ( 12,000 miles mint!!). Great bike don't get me wrong. However, I just could not get that same feel I have grown so accustomed to about the V4 pick-up and sound. So I just found this VFR750 by chance and am putting my CBR on the block.

My question is, I know very little about these , anything I should look for on these that are common symptoms or things I need to stay on top of?

    Thanks in advance.

The more experienced VFR owners will be able to help you more than I (I have only had my VFR for a few weeks) but the only thing that I believe are really known problems on the 4th Gens (1994 - 1997) are the RR's (regulator rectifiers).

The 4th Gens also have gear driven cams so no worn out camchain or CCT to worry about, and already owning VF's you'll be pretty well knowledgeable with the V4 engine in general.

So other than the RR, just look out for overall maint items, ie. depending on how many miles are on the bike, might be time for a new chain/sprockets, ect.

Basically just things as a bike owner you would already be able to identify as needing routine maint.
