I just brought home red ‘04 on Saturday. Great shape, 7 k miles. Lifted gas tank to do the snorkel, flapper, pair. Found huge rodent nest in air box. Also found pair mod to be already done (toothpaste cap in tube).

I found the bike to be overly jerky/torquey especially in 1st/2nd low rpm. I’m hoping the above mods address this? I ordered some RadioShack 330 ohm 1/4 w to do the o2 sensor eliminator mod. I can’t seem to find if this is a good idea or how to do it exactly. I’m not much of a wrench. No cash for any high $ mods now so trying to tackle the jerkiness in a low cost fashion.

    Thanks for any help.

like so many others...............you might need a PowerCommander, properly mapped, to smooth things out ??

btw, we like to see photos of rodent nests; i do, anyway.
