    Hello all
first time on this site so Good Morning to you.
I did try the VFR owners site, http://www.bikersoracle.com/vfr/ and joined it but then had to pay £15 to be a "sponser" to access the forum to post a reply to an advert (I need a RH side fairing panel for my 1988 VFR750FJ due to it being stolen recently last time out on it) but the site has been "unavailable" ever since? Anyone had dealings with this site?
Anyway I started riding on the road in 1964 with a Bantam, Tiger Cub then an Enfield Crusader sports (the business 250 in those days) had quite a few other bigger Brit bikes after the RE threw the con rod and destroyed the engine but when I came across a Honda CB77 (on which I could keep up with all my mates on their 500's and even some of the 650's, as long as we were on the straight! Come to the bendy bits and the Honda's pressed steel frame really let it down! As much as I loved V engines they were not affordable to me then but eventually had a 600 Ducati, then a couple of Guzzi's, Le Mans Mk 1 and 2 (and even a semi automatic Californian which I had taken in part ex, never again I hated it) I had an NSR 400 when they came out but was never a "stroker" lover either and moved on to a VFR500 (F2 I think) I have had a long list of different bikes since then and wont bore you with it but suffice to say most of them were V2's or V4's.
Been living in Greece for the last 6 years but still coming back to the UK to replenish the funds every now and again. Being lost without a bike I bought the VFR 750 to knock about on whilst over here. Its done 70K miles but everything works (and it's got heated grips which was (is) great in the winter (never had them before) and is not in bad nick now I have sorted the brakes (disc's warped, calipers siezed, pads glazed etc). Had the surprise of my life when I came back and found someone had nicked the RH fairing, stuz fasteners are great but perhaps a bit too easy to remove? I can only speculate that it was another VFR rider who needed one. So, any one know where I can obtain one as Honda say they are out of production and a trawl of the net has so far revealed none! HELP! Looks a mess without it and I can't bear it!
Ride safe and watch out for the tea leaves!
    Ciao Steve
