Hi, just joined today. I bought a vfr 750fs about 6 weeks ago, fantastic bike, love it to bits, always wanted one, not dissapointed. I am currently planning a tour of europe with my other half for next year, on bikes of course! She rides a zzr600 (not converted her yet, will keep trying:wink: ) Any advise on touring or just owning a vfr would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike
Welcome to the forum. If I could afford it Id take a tour of Europe myself!!! When touring you might want to have a tire repair kit and some type of air pump with you. Also snacks and water will help out if you break down or need a rest. Enjoy!!
Thanks for the welcome and the advice. Does anyone know if you can get touratech style hard luggage to fit a vfr 750 and if so where from? Mike.
They look good, can you get much in them? As i said, we are going on a tour of europe for 4 or 5 weeks next year, going to try to fit in as many countries as we can! So I will need sturdy decent sized luggage, enough to carry food clothes, etc. Just fitted a scottoiler and goodrich braided hoses at the weekend, what a difference it made to the brakes, I would definately recommend them. I will be after a nice exhaust soon, was thinking stainless downpipes and titanium can, any suggestions? There does'nt seem to be much choice for the older shape vfr. Thanks.
They hold an ok amount if you travel light. For more room you can go with the 460 is the largest they make. I have a few different pipes but went to my stock one recently and like the quite for now.
