Just a quick introduction. I've trolled the site for.....well.....years. Finally was able to pull the trigger on a 2005 in silver. It was serendipity finding her. Just cruising the local ads and there she was. Sent the ad to my wife expecting the standard answer of "Can't afford that right now". Lo and behold she asked if I'd called on it yet!! I had to check to see if I'd texted her or someone else.

Contact was made quickly after that. Went to look at her, not perfect but had good bones. Paint is the worst of it, there's a boat load of scratches from something falling on it, (ladder)? Not been down type of scratches. And body screws missing. Plastic all in good shape, no visible cracks or repairs.

It just really needs to be loved and taken care of......and ridden like it owes me money!

I'll post pictures as soon as I figure out how.

Congrats and Welcome to The World! Be sure to go over the bike thoroughly and give it the once over twice. If you've trolled here for as long as you say, you know these bikes aren't perfect and that checking the wiring and flush/filling the fluids is a good start.

Oh, yeah. Previous owner didn't know if any of the known issues had been handled. Specifically the R/R, Stator, the left fairing connector and the 30 amp fuse issue. All will be come clear in the near future. The owner also "installed" a D&D slip on muffler, unfortunately it's a "custom" install.

I did add a couple of photos to my gallery if interested. Still working on how to post to a post

I typically use Photobucket but the process is very similar if you use a link. Otherwise you can upload through the 'From my Computer' option. Click on the 'Insert Image' button on the menu bar just above the text window and you'll see the two options. If you use the 'From URL' you'll need to have the image URL handy before hand. To do that, go to your photo in your gallery and then right click the image. From the pop up menu, select 'Copy Image Location'. Then when using the 'From URL' option, paste the copied URL link. I find that unchecking 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally' usually prevents errors when linking some image URLS. I should mention, this is when using a computer, not sure how it works using an app like Tapatalk.
