I'm a relatively new member living in Atlanta. I have owned four VFR Interceptors. A 1986 red, white and blue 700, a 1993 pearl white, currently a 1994 (red of course) and just purchased a new 2007 25th anniverdsary edition. I'm looking forward to participating with this forum.

Welcome to Fantasy Island! Smiles, everyone, smiles!

    Hey Professor,

I think there are other VFR websites out there, but this one is the most interesting and social. With 4 under your belt, you should be a good source for people with questions. I have one or two a week.
My first: Did you get a screaming deal on your 25RWB? I see so many still sitting in dealerships. I just saw one on Ebay located at a dealership in Iowa that had been bid up to 7,150. That is a fantastic deal. I first saw them at a rally when they were introduced and thought the color scheme was beautifully done, and it is a Honda VFR. What's not to like?
Did Honda make too many of them, or have riders rejected them for solid colors? I can't figure it out.
Last year I bought my '96 for 3k. If I knew that I could get an '07, with warranty, and in gorgeous RWB- I may have found a way to get more scratch together.
Tell me any observations you have on your cycle, or if you think I'm a some nut.

Welcome! VFR's are sweet, but as you know, variety is the spice of life! If you really wanna get your 'mojo on' jump on a real superbike............. like a Duc 1098 or an '08 CBR 1K rr, right?!!

You are right! I have a 2007 Duc 1098 that I have put 5,000 miles on. It's a great hardcore sportbike that just keeps on pulling when you're on the throttle.

Welcome to the Funny Farm! There are quite a few Atlanta members of this forum including myself. Where exactly in the metro area do you live? I'm up in North Fulton County (John's Creek) and now that the weather is getting nice there will be plenty of group rides coming together if you are interested. You wouldn't happen to be interested in trading your 4th Gen VFR for my wife would you?

    Regards,
    Rollin

I think you are older than me! the 25th is truly a sweet number. Sometimes wished I had waited a year. But I am not dissappointed in my 06 Pearl. Welcome aboard Bud. Share with us your wisdom.

After having 4 vfrs it's about time you join vfrw! Welcome aboard! I also had an '86 red, white and blue(400cc)...the last one before the single sided ones came out.
