Just wanted to extend a hello and a thank you to everyone on this website. You guys (and gals) were very helpful in me deciding which mods to go with on my 2003 'Silver Bullet'. I bought this bike about a month ago (for $6K) with 3000 miles on it from a guy that took extremely good care of it! He had the wheels polished (bonus) and put a K & N filter in it. Other than that, it was stock. I chose to go with titanium Microns (which I am extremely pleased with). I also bought the Competition Werks fender eliminator kit and a Zero Gravity light smoke double bubble wind screen. Oh, and even though still tread left, I changed the stock rubber (Battle Axe's) to Pilot Powers. Still considering a Power Commander III USB (maybe you guys can give me some more feedback).

I live in San Diego and am 39 years old. I have been riding motorcycles since I was 8. I have owned many different dirt and sreet bikes over the years. From Harleys to Hondas and Kawi's to Triumphs. From touring to race and 2 to 4 wheel dirt. Motorcycles are just in my blood... I'm sure many of you can relate. And I can relate to you guys, cause I LOVE this friggin bike!!!

Anyway, just happy for this great site and all of you like minded people on it! Thanks, Johnnie5. P.S. I will proudly post pics of my bike in the gallery, titled appropiately of course ~ 'Silver Bullet'. Ride safe.

Welcome aboard.... congrats on your bike and happy to see you are enjoying it. I appreciate mine more every time I ride it. Definitely post some pics. As far as the PCIII I think most of these guys agree that its worth it just for the ability to tune. I started a thread a few hours ago about that because I'm looking into it before I get my exhaust. So far I think even stock it helps. Ride safe!!
