The answer is here!! .... https://www.kawasaki.com/Products/2018-Ninja-H2SX-SE

A liter sport touring bike that so many people here want so badly!!

Surely, this will be the final nail in the VFR's coffin!!! Kawi won't be able to build them fast enough for us! It's a ST bike, has 1000cc's (actually 998), and it's supercharged with tons of power!!! What more could the VFR owner that's perpetually riding a "slow", underpowered 800cc bike??

Oh, I knew there was a catch......they won't leave any dealer's show room for $7000 brand new. We're so spoiled with allegedly not paying for what we get. Sorry, reality is hell......; )

It sounds nice, even has cornering lamps, I would like one but for one thing. Why is that Kawasaki have to make it look like an alien drone that flew through a wire fence ? I have lusted after VFRs since I was a kid. They are, to me a thing of beauty, a Ducati Panigale is also a beautiful bike. I like them curvy and flowing in their lines. Kawasaki are obviously looking for a point of differentiation but the styling of the bikes just doesn't do it for me.

    I'd ride it.

I'm curious, since the new GSXR can make over 200hp at the rear wheel with a pipe, air cleaner and flash, I wonder what the Kawasaki will do?

Less than 1/6 of the cost of $22,000, I will keep my CBRXX.

All three bikes together still less than 1/2 of $22,000 price tag:

Not me - I'm happy as a pig in mud with my 8th gen! I have to agree with FatBastard - our VFRs looks like works of art compared to that thing.

That is a very nice bike. I like the looks. I can remember people not liking the newer VFR styling too. But I still want a Tuono!

Put some photos up, I think it looks decent. Way more stylish than those hideous GSXR600s from a few years back for instance.

What year is the Tuono? 2017?
Bet it sounds sweet with the Akra on it.

The "ninja" decal has to be dropped in order for me to buy one. Something about that name that I can't stand.
