hi all! I run SCTA landspeed racing on the EL Mirage dry lake bed. Now I run a 100cc Yamaha but will be building a 83 Interceptor 500 to go after the landspeed record in the 500cc PS/G class in 2011. The current record is @126mph, this is why I am here to try to gain some speed tricks and knowledge from my new found brothers and sisters here. I know NOTHING about the V-4 configuration! So I need edumacation. Please forgive me for ALL the stupid questions I will be throwing out there in the future.
    Thanks, Lance

please please please keep us posted on this. I would really like to see your progress and results. Land speed records have always been an interest of mine. I'd love to get into it some day too.

You may want to contact Dave Dodge at: Dave Dodge - SabMagFAQ

He has modified a lot of the larger V4 motors. Can't see a big difference in the different size V4's as far as makeing more power. Plus he most likely has a few good contacts that may be able to help.

Yes please keep us informed. There is a lot of help here you may be able to use. Good luck.
