    Hello all,

I just picked up a 98 Vfr and have been using you site for its great resources and thought it was time to check in. My plans are to get the bike completely checked out and then hopefully improve my riding skills by going to a couple track days this year. I am located in MD and my previous street bikes were a hardtail Harley, then came the CBR F2, and my last bike was a CBR1100XX.

Hi blaster and welcome to the group. Congrats an your lates purchase. I know the vfr is a step down (at least in displacement) from the CBR, but I think you'll enjoy the viffer more. Just my opinion tho. Anyway, hope you find the info here useful during your ownership of your vfr.

Thanks, I found my top speed limits on the 1100. I could have bought another 1100 but since I almost bought a VFR last time and I found some limits I would pick some realistic middle ground, plus the sound of a V motor is great!
