I'm new and posted the other day about used VFR's, well I went ahead and bought a new one yesterday. It's an '07 candy red and had 1 mile on it.
    I'll post some pics tonight.
I took it for a quick first ride last night and I'm blown away! I've only owned dirt and dual sport bikes, this is my first real street bike. This bike is so fun to ride.
It feels really solid on the road and though I haven't opened it up yet, I can feel the power and torque this bike has. Can't wait for the weekend to go on a long ride

Since you haven't had a street bike before, I'll assume you are lacking the gear dept. and recommend getting some ASAP. You'll find that candy red is MUCH easier to match than the traditional VFR red if you care about such things.

    Congrats on the new bike!

Good luck with the new bike just be carefull around the 2000 mile mark,,,the engine seems to losen up a bit and its very easy to get the front wheel up in first gear,i was merging into traffic, had to step it up a bit-- man o man that front wheel came right up-- its one thing if you want it to happen its another story when your not ready for it.You might want to bring an extra pair of underware with you till you get used to the power of the VFR :)

Got it out again, man I love this bike..
One thing though, it seems to idle a bit rough. Will this change after break in or should I have it looked at right away?

Somewhat common issue: incorrect idle speed that is too low. The adjuster is down on the right side inside the fairing just below the frame spar IIRC, it's a clockwise rotation to increase it. Set it to 1200-1300.

Where did you get yours and how much did you pay? I bought mine on Sat at Al Lamb's in Dallas, $8599 before ttl.
