I've owned my 2005 VFR 800 since March 2006 and already have 8000 miles on it. Been a daily rider (weather permitting) for several years and would rather ride more than anything else I could do recreationally. I'm a huge VFR fan going way back to the late 80's and nearly have to pinch myself every time I start mine up -- happy to finally own one. What a great bike and great fun to ride! Interested in communicating with other VFR enthusiasts, especially those in the Dallas, TX area. Thanks for the welcome to VFR World, cgsportbike (Christopher)
Welcome to the fold, Christopher. We are glad you chose to join us here. I have to agree the VFR is definately a great bike and absolutely fun to ride. My previous bike, an 86 Yamaha Radian 600 was not as fun as my VFR.
Welcome Chris. I bought a VFR without knowing them or their 'cult-like' following and I have to agree with you. The VFR helped me fall backin love with riding after my Hardley had almost ruined riding for me.
Warm welcome Thanks for the warm welcome! Yeah, I'm so pleased with my bike it is great to find VFRWorld to match the relationship! I've ridden so many bikes from singles, to V-twins to in-line fours... but nothing has the character and feel of the V-4! For now, it is hard to think of ever riding anything else! Thanks for welcoming me to the v-4 team... I hope to bring as much to the site as I've already received. Peace, Christopher (cgsportbike)
