I have gained some much needed confidence in the bike today, by taking it on a decent ride, to run some errands. The bike perform well. I won't say flawlessly, as I know it's not perfect, and has some quirks that I know could be improved, but for now, I don't feel it will be leaving me stranded.

I also launched the bike sort of hard from a stop once, and I was happy with how strong it pulled! LOT's left to do, but most will be taken care of over the winter, when it comes apart.

 

It's an old bike, so you are always going to have something to fiddle with. It's nice to hear that you have it out and are able to ride it!

 

And I expect as much, all is ok! I'm going to try to come up with the funds to do some upgrades, such as suspension (Jamie!) and trying to find some different exhaust!
