Hello Nubie here first post have been lurking in the site for a while and have enjoyed the post.
My problem is that my grips leave a very rubber smell on my hands.
Any cleaning or new styles to change to.
It is a 02 ABS with 8000 miles.

Well Lime Time, I think its time to go to the store and pick out a nice pair of motocycle gloves.

That should take care of the issue by protecting your hands in more way than one.

I was gonna say glove will prevent rubbery smelling hands, but it seems two others beat me to it. Take some time and find a pair that fit well . I find it more comfortable to ride with gloves on than I do with them off.

+1 on the gloves. Gear is good...it's save your ass! Just saw that again this weekend when a friend went down.

Oh, hello and welcome to the forum!

    Welcome aboard.
    Buy Gloves.
If you just want new grips, try ProGrips.

    Thanks folks.
I did buy the gloves but I am going to need a new pair for the cold weather.
On the side also have to pick up my Alpinestars MX-2 waterproof boots and could order some grips and a throtle mister.
My riding might be limited to a snowmobile my new job works 7 days a week and 12 hours a day in summeror June to October.
Have to feed the family I guess.
    Again thanks.
