So Muzzy is having a BIG blow-out on exhausts. They had one slip-on left for the 1998-2001 VFR, so I snapped it up. I got the stainless round aluminum slip-on for $59.95. Its regularly $250+ and since I still have the stock exhaust on my 2000, I couldn't pass it up. So, does anyone have one of these and/or have a review on it? I know its not the best pipe out there, but like I said for $59.95 ... Do I need a power commander? I know it would be better if I had one, but is it really necessary?
that rocks! I may buy one just because it's such a good deal and I have scratched my 2bros up quite a bit...
- Way cool of a slip on deal - on the Power Commander - Do you absolutely need one? Well no, the bike should run OK without it. But do you want one - oh yeah, you do. On mine without the the power noticably craps out at 10500rpm. Sure it will go to red line, but seems to be a bit lethargic. Add the PC and the thing SCREAMS to redline no hesitation. Also low and midrange feels fatter, pulls better. - Just a seat of the pants evaulation.
