On a test ride I found the std seat to be to hard and to slippery, I have read that the seat uses some new process of manufacturing which bonds the seat cover to the foam which would make it all but impossible to simply reupholster and re cover like I have done with previous seats
My question is has anyone attempted to do this to a seat yet and was the cover actually bonded to the foam ???

Hard to say what is available in OZ especially when no information on which or what bike or seat is in question. Generally, the bonded covers can be steamed off. Google "Rich's seats" in the video section.

Mail order seats are cookie cutter. Custom seats can be pricy but as the man says," It's your ass."
