Hey all, Time to upgrade from a 2000 VFR800Fi to a newer bike... Looking to import one from the neighbours. What kind of mods would you say are necessary for the 8th Gen VFR? Also anything to note or look out for?
so what i have noticed nowadays: accessories are no longer available so i ideally need to find a VFR with the right trim. Sidecases are very very pleasant, and a quickshifter, the rest is not mandatory for me. Although stuff like a hugger, rack for Topcase would be nice, they arent mandatory. Anyone have experience with the healtech or similar QS? is it plug and play like the honda one?
I am also interested in a QS, unfortunatly didn't think it would be worth it a couple of years ago and didn't get it when still in stock from Honda. I have the sidebags, they're pretty nice to have for a multiple day ride. I got a PowerBronze screen and a SC Project exhaust, both of which look miles better than stock (IMO). Would like to try the slipper clutch from Sigma, but can't find too many posts about it, and it's over my "just get it and try it" budget. Good luck with the search/buy.
