    Hey all,

Just a quick intro thread. Been into motorcycles since 85 and have had quite the laundry list of bikes. My current ride is a ZX11 that I use for commuting and running errands. But just last night I picked up this 85 Interceptor 750 for $750.00 and it came with a brand new tank (wrong year though :( ) and a 99% complete parts bike.

This will be a slow but complete restoration, mainly because I'm a sucker for punishment, but I'm also in the middle of a restomod to my 77 Lincoln Towncar.

Welcome Sauceman. Canada is such a small country we Canadians likely know exactly were you are, but for the bennifit of others, where in Canada? Is that you in your avatar? If so, thank you for stepping up to the plate.

Looks like a lot of great parts and a reasonable price. You should do well with that project.

Welcome to the Forum, I am the process of cleaning up my 83 VF750 (I bought my first one in Toronto in 83, and replaced it in 85 with another) and just bought the body work of an 85 from another member. My tank was toast and his was like new! I can not afford to 'Restore' the old girl, just trying to get her back in running order. Good luck, Partzillia has a lot of the rubber o-rings and gaskets that you will need.
