    Hello All,

I know that head gaskets are no longer available for my '86 vf500f, and like to be prepared for future service. Have done much reading and I have found that copper head gaskets can be machined for direct replacements and would love to give it a try. (there is a site that does it professionally but have no problem havnig a go at doing it myself) Does anyone have an old front and rear head gasket that I could use to develop my cad/cam file from?

    Regards,

    Will R. Seattle, WA.

Have you tried David Silver spares in England? They had a head gasket and valves for my '83 CB1100R

Copper and aluminum don't like each other.
