    Hi there,

Well - I missed owning a VFR, having had a 2001 model and a 1988 model. So last week I bought a very nice condition 2000 model and thought I had better get back on the forum.

I build bikes - but not for a living, just for a laugh.

I have built a CB750F2 cafe racer, a CB450 Black Bomber cafe racer (that was on the Bike Exif website) a CB500 cafe racer ....

.... and now I am building a replica of a Hansen CR450 race bike (which starts from a CB450).

Other bikes have included a Triumph TT600 and a Yamaha XJR1300SP, both had their good points but I am so glad to be back on a VFR800 as my 'everyday bike' whilst I build other bikes.

So I will be lurking around here as maduncle, which is the same name I lurk around the Honda Twins and the SOHC4 forums with.

    Cheers,

    (Cliff)
