So the 99 I own has new EBC wave rotors on it, but it feels like one of them may need turned. When I go to a stop, it feels like one is warped, as there is vibration and a lurching feeling when stopping. Sorry if this is vague, I can't think this morning... New brake pads too.
Awe, good ole wave rotors. Some might suggest, give the bobbins a going over. My sons wave rotors on his 954 did get the wiggle wiggle, they first gave him new bobbins, then new discs. but he bought them new and his came with a life time warranty still was just a hassle. Sounds like you need to have a chat with powderrecon about this... SMH .
Which rotor(s) are you referring to? Front, Rear, both? Checking for warping is easy enough if you have stands or other method of raising the tires off the ground. If you have time today I can make some room in my schedule, other than a 3:30PM conference call I have some flexibility in my schedule. I have front and rear stands and a spare front wheel with OEM rotors on it if it turns out your front rotor(s) are warped.
Sundy might work, I'll have to check with the wife and make sure she didn't have any plans. I'll let you later today. Looking like you'll need to bring that bottle of Paddy!
Wife has no plans, so you're welcome to come by on Sunday. The earlier the better. Maybe we can get Long to come by and supply the IPA!
I just realized I won't have my clutch till Monday. I don't know if I want to put that many miles on a bad clutch.
No worries, I have an erratic schedule so I may actually have a day next week where I can accommodate you.
