    Hi folks,
I need a rack system that I can carry equipment on. I work with kids with special needs and equipment might include standing frames, rolls, floor seats, etc. And, oh yeah....my hockey bag (not all at the same time but capable of taking on 40 pounds weight)
I was thinking of getting a GIVI top bag bracket system and attach a larger platform to it. My bike is a '98 VFR800i.

    I welcome all feedback.

GIVI tubular sidecase mounts are strong and rigid, and attach in multiple spots to the subframe. Once you have a set mounted, it would be easy to bridge over the top and make a bombproof rigid carrying platform on top. I have a set on my '99 and I swear you could pick up the entire bike with them with a crane.
