Looking at a bike....

    Im looking at a bike to buy via craigslist, good looking bike, comes with stock and staintune exhaust, a power commander and some clip on risers.

    I cant tell what risers these are, can anyone help!?

    I think they are covertibars, but am not sure.

    The owner isnt really sure what they are either.

    They aren't convertibars either, unless they are an earlier version. Convertibars also have a pivot point where the vertical bar meets the handle bar (convertibars.com). They are nearly infinitely adjustable. I've seen these online I just don't recall who makes them. Regardless of that, what else about the bike can be said? Mileage, price, overall condition, etc.

    For reference NADA guides has '99 VFR800's listed at $3,235.00. I Would feel weird to ask him to drop his price, considering he's unemployed. Seems like a few extras though. Sargent seat and Staintune exhaust are worth the difference of what he's asking. Add in the two helmets and there's well more than the difference. Looking at those clip-ons again, looks like the left side has a tube or wire going through it. Maybe this is for an accessory switch? Part of the "custom" grips maybe?
