Thanks for the post. If I could ask are you doing all the machining work in-house?

If you have 'em could you please post a few photos of the rear brake caliper carrier? Also, what tire sizes did you select?

Good luck with the rest of the build. Looking forward to seeing how it comes together.

Thanks guys, hopefully will be out in a week.

@ Invisible Cities - I didnt do the machining in house i got all the spacers and caliper bracket from Jamie Daugherty but i will take a few pictures tomorrow for you.

@ Matt - Well i did some of the Body work a few years back and I was an idiot back then and used spot putty to fill dents lol, had to refix all that, so i guess me and body work arent a perfect match either i just try my best and hope for a decent finish lol.

    Here is some more pics...

    Thanks for the post.

I'm surprised the 170 will fit. From everything I have read 155mm actual is about as wide as you can go on the rear tire when running with the stock swingarm. Did you modify the swingarm to fit this tire?

Good deal, going with 150 tire sounds right based on the clearance to the stock swingarm.

If I could mention, there is a caveat going with the F2 rims that I would like to point out. Based on my research, for the CBR600F2's 3.5F and 4.5R rims, 120F/160R tires are the factory recommended smallest profiles.

When I wrote to Bridgestone awhile back (while doing research for my 17" wheel conversion) they said that while mounting a 110 tire on a 3.5 rim and a 150 tire on a 4.5 rim is acceptable, the wider rims will alter the tire profile from how it was originally designed. They mentioned that the tire will have a slightly slower response due to it being a bit flatter in its profile. Of course this could be purely academic as after all you are gaining the benefit of running radial tires but I thought it was worth mentioning here as the F2 wheel conversion is very popular.

Also, on this note, are you installing a new mono-shock?

It's looking great. I too like the white and red color scheme. It is definitely unique. Can't wait to see it fully assembled.

Yea matt you did, and thanks for the reviews, im sad to say i suck at wrapping seats especially because i dont have an air stapler so i had to buy a brand used one and sadly its black but it still does the job. This is the complete pic for a while until i can do my real plans.

It's still looking good. Are you going to keep it white or are you going to add other color / trim?

I want to add other colour, white and red trim but im going to wait until winter when i can rip it apart and get the frame and swing arm powder coated because the frame looks kind of bad right now :(. But since im a newbie i will keep it like this just in case anything happens.
