Hey everybody! Just bought an 86 VFR705F off a guy here in Colorado Springs. My buddy was trying to talk me into getting something newer as the bike was pretty roughed up by its previous owner. But i remember all the rides i got from my dad as a kid on his 86 VFR and couldn't pass up the opportunity when one came along to pick one up (even if just as a project bike). It's not running right now, needs a fuel pump and a new gasket and such, and the plastics need a lot of help, but i'll be posting pictures sometime in the near future so any advice will be appreciated. Thanx!!
If possible I would do away with the fuel pump. Not sure if the 750 requires one but I just took the one off my 500 and if runs better than ever.
