    Hi all,

New member and new owner of a 2000 VFR. Can anyone tell me where (or if) I can get a clear tail light and some sleaker front turn signals for my bike? I think mine would look really nice with white tail light plastics and a turn signals that don't stick out quite so much. I've been looking online but had no luck whatsoever. Is there a company that makes anything like this? Thanks for any help you can give!

    ~Dave

There is a group that considers the turn signals to be "dumbo ears". I do not necessarily agree, but....What they have done is remove them and replace the mirrors with integrated turn signals. As far as the holes left on the fairing--find a used rear seat cowling or a side fairing and cut and paste. Some go as far as doing body shop type work. It all depends on budget and time I guess. Yes, there are clear lenses avail, but you'd have to search.
If you go to VFRD.com and do a search for dumbo ears there are a few threads there.

    DONE!

Thanks for the info. I was also looking at some angel eyes headlights but it sounds like they are a pain in the ass to install. The jury is still out on that one though. I do love it as is but I really think the clear tail light would look friggin' awesome. :)

Check these front turn signals out too. Not the "integrated" look I was originally thinking about but I think I might like this even better!

well I went ahead and payed an obscene 160 something euros (~240 bucks) to get the smoked LED tail-light for my 98. 19%VAT for shipping outside the EU. Will I be the first in the US w/ these on a red VFR? Stay tuned for pics.

Two trips around the world and 2 months of waiting because of a return-to-sender glitch w/ shipment, but I finally installed my whitelights from Germany today.
