I am looking to purchase a motorcycle lift, one which lifts the whole bike about 30 inches up. I have seen many but would like to know if any of you have experience with one over another, or things I need to consider when purchasing. My 84 VF1000F is the heaviest bike in my stable.

scissor type lift, full lift or one of the other types?
I have a full Larin lift, and having used it and the Handy one, I would definately go for the Handy one over the Larin.

If you dont intend on lifting with the exaust and lower fairings on and can settle for 20" Sears makes an ATV/Motorcycle lift that works well. They make 2 models one steel and one lightweight alunimum. I opted for the lightweight version and forked out the extra $80 bucks(total cost $179.00)and it has worked well for me.
